Home & Garden Application
Mix 1 part Zeolite with 4 parts existing soil for new plantings or garden beds. For established plants, top-dress with a 1/2-inch layer and gently work it into the soil surface. Water thoroughly after application.
Commercial Application
Zeolite can be applied at any time during the growing season at a rate of 1-2 tons per acre. It should be evenly broadcast over the soil and worked into the top 6 inches. Zeolite is particularly effective in improving water retention and nutrient uptake in sandy soils. Its high cation-exchange capacity makes it an excellent soil conditioner for both agricultural and horticultural applications.
